- Maine White Water Report The scheduled flow below Harris Station on the Kennebec is 4950 cubic feet per second between 10 am and 1 pm, 4050 from 1-4 pm, and 440 until midnight. There is a Dead River high water release of 6,000+ scheduled for Sept 5. River temperature is 72 degrees.

Dead River Lodge
Well off Rt. 201 near our base camp, Dead River Lodge offers a quiet retreat. Magic Rivers Campground
Located on the beautiful Dead River, both campsites and cabin tents are available. For your convinence each site has a fire pit and picnic table.
Cabin Tents are a wooden framed structure covered with water proof canvas, set on a wooden platform, with a screen door, basic electricity, and sleeping racks with mats. You can either bring your own sleeping bags and pillows or have us supply pillow, sheets, and one blanket for an additional fee. Click here for camping package rates.
