Reservations

Reservations for whitewater rafting are necessary and we suggest you make them early to receive the dates you prefer.

  • 50% non-refundable deposit required with reservation form. (On last page of our brochure)
  • Transferable with 45 days written notice.
  • Balance is due 45 days prior to trip date.

One call on our toll-free number can take care of everything. We'll reserve your raft trip and arrange overnight accommodations and meals. You may choose the River's Inn, Dead River Lodge. Or stay with us at our Magic Rivers Campground on the shores of the beautiful Dead River.

Safety and Liability

Before your river trek begins, we give a brief safety talk. This not only is a precautionary safety measure, but lets you in on some river insights from the river guides' point of view. All guides are trained in first aid, CPR, and water rescue. Of course, Coast Guard approved life jackets and all safety equipment are provided.

Whitewater rafting is a physical sport which involves inherent risks, so we do everything possible to insure a safe trip. Because of the nature of outdoor recreational sports, we do not accept responsibility for personal safety and we are not liable for lost or damaged personal items. All rafters are required to sign a Waiver of Liability and Risk Assumption.

Magic Falls Rafting reserves the right to change the trip itinerary should water conditions create flows too high or too low.

What to Wear

For your comfort, you should bring a bathing suit, sneakers, shorts, sweater, hat, windbreaker, or quick-drying nylon clothing. No cotton please!

On the spring and fall trips we require that you wear a wetsuit while on the river. You are welcome to rent one of our suits or bring one of your own. Rental of a full suit is $12.00, a half is $6.00, and booties are $5.00. Bring wool socks.

Please don't forget to bring a change of dry clothing and footwear for your trip home!
