Rafting Check-In: At Magic Falls Adventure Base.

Please arrive 15 minutes early if able and be ready to go rafting!
Release/Waiver
A waiver must be signed by every person who is rafting, kayaking or tubing. This will be part of your check-in process.
Any person under the age of 18 years, not accompanied by his/her parent/guardian must have a waiver filled out and turned in upon check-in.
Due to insurance regulations blanket or roster waivers are not accepted.
Overnight Accommodations
If you haven’t already, we offer several different overnight accommodations, some of which can be booked last minute!
We offer sites for tent camping and bunk houses for a slightly more “glamping” feels. Each site comes with a fire pit and trash/redemption disposal.
Furthermore, next door to us is the Dead River Lodge which boasts everything from bunk style rooms to several private rooms. The Lodge is subject to availability.
There is no smoking allowed inside any building.
Pets
Pets are only allowed in Dead River Lodge.
We apologize but due to the large number of guests, no pets are allowed on the property including inside bunkhouses and campground.
What to wear
Any material that wicks away moisture such as a bathing suit, nylon, fleece or polypropylene. Most athletic wear is great to wear on the river! No cotton or jeans!
Footwear: sandals with heel straps or old sneakers (anything that will stay on your feet!). No flip-flops. We offer a variety of water shoes for sale in our camp store, along with wetsuit booties for rent!
**Please note: During colder seasons, wetsuits may be required. Be prepared to rent a wetsuit during check-in if you do not bring one of your own**

Gratuities
Gratuities are not included but are always appreciated! Please note your guide cannot accept tips via credit card at this time. We offer an ATM in the office, and many of our guides have a form of Venmo/Pay Pal/Cash App/Facebook Pay.

Check in: 3:00PM-8:00PM
Please park by the buses near the shower house. A property map is located there. Please walk to the office to check in.
Campground or bunkhouses: If no one is on staff when you arrive, please look for the campground map to find your site or bunkhouse.
Dead River Lodge: keys will be in the office building or camp store until 8pm. Special accommodation can be made for late arrivals. Please notify the office in advance.
Check out: 10:00 AM or before you check-in for your rafting trip!
Please make sure you have thoroughly checked for all your belongings before checking out; there is NO re-entrance after 10:00AM to the Dead River Lodge. Re-entering will result in the group leader’s credit card being charged an additional night’s stay.
Dead River Lodge check out: Please leave room keys in your door upon checkout.
If you are checking out before a rafting trip, we recommend locking your valuables/belongings in your vehicle. During your rafting check-in, you may give one of the staff to be secured during your trip.
General lodging notes
- There is no smoking allowed inside any building or bunkhouse.
- Quiet time starts at 11pm.
- Pets are only allowed in Dead River Lodge and outside that lodge.
- We apologize but due to the large number of guests, no pets are allowed on the Magic Falls property including inside bunkhouses and the campground
- Firewood is available for sale at the camp store.
- Camp store hours are 3-8pm from July 4th to Labor Day.
- The camp store has many overnight supplies including toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, snacks, drinks, etc.
- If you are interested in a rafting or float trip and did not book one, please ask us! We often have last minute openings.
Dead River Lodge notes
- The lodge has a shared kitchen. Please be respectful of refrigerator space and other customer’s supplies.
- You may use the microwave and toaster,
- Please do not use stove or dishwasher. No cooking pans, dishes, or silverware are available so bring any supplies you may need.
- Washer and dryer are not available.
- One towel is provided for each guest.
- If you are staying more than one night and need linen changes, please notify staff.
- Outside grill is available on deck.
Cancellation Policy
Rafting: All rafting reservations are final. Refunds will not be given in the event of cancellation. If unforeseen circumstances should arise, rescheduling will be possible if Magic Falls Adventures is notified more than 48 hours in advance. We do not reschedule/cancel trips due to rainy or inclement weather!
Lodging: Dates can be moved based on availability with no charge. Refunds will be issued on a case by case basis with 48 hour notice.
